The Civil Services Club is formed with the intention to encourage, motivate and train students who aspire to appear for the Civil Services Examinations. This club arranges for periodical meetings to plan, provide relevant information and discuss matters relating to the Civil Services Examinations. Training programmes and workshops are organized for the young aspirants to provide them with the orientation required to take up challenges associated with the Civil Services Examination.

Shri J.K.Tripathy, I.P.S., the Commissioner of Police, Tiruchirappalli City, addressed the members of the club on 25th August 1999. The commissioner highlighted his own experiences in preparing for the Civil Services Examinations, He stressed the importance of systematic and analytic preparation to clear the Civil Services Exam. He also cited instances on the need to perserve, work hard, and maintain a rigorous discipline. Finally he entreated the students to nurture a spirit of adventurism and become patriotic, law-abiding citizens of the country.

On the same dayShri L.R.Ramachandran, Asst.General Manager, NABARD, Tiruchirappalli addressed the members of the club on Youth Dynamics. In his address, he provided useful tips to become a successful administrator and entrepreneur.

In collaboration with Spark Center, Madurai, a One-Day Workshop was organized on 3rd march 1999 for the students.
